Coltman Warner Cranston LLP differ from most firms as we only specialise in dealing with debt recovery and insolvency actions for commercial clients. Our clients are very diverse and range from Blue Chip companies to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Our dedicated practice is an offshoot of the debt recovery department of US giant Reed Smith. Based in Coventry, the group deals with matters ranging from pre-legal issues through to the High Court. Our team also advise on credit management, enforcement proceedings and defended debt collection. Clients range from SMEs to large corporations such as Denmans and MPS Builders Merchants.
Larry Coltman leads the practice, contributing expertise in commercial litigation and insolvency matters. The firm has "a good solid reputation".
Our legal services include:
- Dispute resolution & debt settlement services - help to identify the core of the disagreement and devise a strategy to resolve it. Fortunately most disputes can be settled without litigation but through a process of negotiation and mediation.
